A gathering for fathers

Village & Verses™

Dads with young children and honest poetry. We gather once per month. That's it.

Not a program. Not a class.

We're a group of mostly young dads who gather once per month to share short poems (a stanza, a few bars, whatever you've got) about fatherhood, our kid(s), and the things we're carrying. No experience necessary, and no polished material required. Just dads sharing space to say what we feel out loud; the weight and the joys that don't always get named.

The name is simple: it takes a village to raise a child, and every one of us has a verse worth passing down.

What it looks like when we meet

01

Arrive

Walk in. Get something to drink. No rush, no agenda for the first 10 minutes. Just land.

02

Spit your verse

Someone will give greetings. Someone reads something they wrote — a poem, a short piece, a few bars. We all listen.

03

Chop it up

Open floor. We talk about what surfaced, what's on your mind.

04

Be

The structured part is over.

If this sounds like something
you've been looking for, we'd love to see you at our next gathering.

Dads with young kids.
Dads who want to be a part of a mindful and attentive community. If the village and verses idea resonates with you, pull up.
